Boxcar 7 is a high-energy seven-piece group recently voted “The Best Band in Long Beach” by a city that knows jazz and blues. With a powerful horn section, a charismatic front man and a seasoned, funky rhythm section Boxcar 7 plays the best of classic R&B, soul, blues, swing and a bit of classic rock. Boxcar 7 draws from the great music of artists including Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Sam & Dave, BB King, Joe Cocker and many more.
